Will UFC Let This Dream Fight Happen?Las Vegas - It is standard practice in the sports world for representatives from different organizations to compete against one another to determine who is the best. The UFC recently made it appear that this was standard for them when they sent Dan Henderson to unite Pride's middleweight and LHW titles with the UFC versions. However, the UFC now owns Pride. Why couldn't Henderson challenge UFC champion Silva for the middleweight title before the acquisition? Frank Shamrock is a former UFC middleweight champion who never lost that title. He currently competes in Elite XC/Strikeforce events. He holds a middleweight title and has long been argued as the greatest mixed martial artist in the world. Anderson Silva is the name many people throw around today when debating the pound for pound title. A Shamrock Silva unification bout would be great for the sport of MMA. But, will it ever happen? It seems like what is best for MMA is not top priority for Dana White or the UFC. | ||

Sanchez, at 6'2", 230 pounds, dropped to 8-1 during a bout he was never in. Cro Cop stalked a backpedaling Sanchez until he finall the overmatched fighter with a hard left roundhouse to the head.
